WWE has officially launched a standalone WCW channel on YouTube, expanding its efforts to preserve and showcase classic wrestling content. This move builds on the success of the WWE Vault channel, which has been a hub for vintage wrestling footage.
Previously, WCW content was mixed in with WWE’s general YouTube uploads, making it harder for fans to find classic matches, segments, and pay-per-view highlights from the once-rival promotion. Now, with the new WCW YouTube channel, WWE is giving the brand its own platform to spotlight its historic archives.
The new channel is rapidly uploading archival footage, including:
– Classic pay-per-view events from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s
– Episodes of WCW television, including Nitro, Thunder, and Saturday Night
– Memorable feuds and moments, featuring legends like Sting, Ric Flair, Goldberg, Hollywood Hogan, the nWo, and many more
With WCW’s influence still felt in modern wrestling, this channel gives longtime fans a dedicated place to relive the golden era of the promotion, while introducing a new generation to one of wrestling’s most iconic brands.
As WWE continues to expand its digital presence, this move signals a renewed focus on WCW’s legacy, ensuring that its legendary content remains easily accessible to fans worldwide.
